When it makes sense

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

What makes this simple

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. One small team handles your request from start to finish. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Booking with CarmaCars

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Who qualifies

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
