Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers for Plainview

Planning a trip between Toronto and Plainview? CarmaCars rents in Toronto, in Canadian dollars. How it works: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. You see the full price in the offer before you decide.

Typical renters

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

The useful parts

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

What we check

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Requesting a car

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
