Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Ruby, CO

Renting with CarmaCars in Ruby

This page is for Ruby, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. One thing to know: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. Nothing is charged until we confirm the car and the price and you approve.

Who it is for

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Who can rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Requesting a car

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
