Meet the 2000 Cadillac DeVille
The 2000 Cadillac DeVille came with one powertrain, the 4.6L 8-cylinder.
Specs, explained
The 4.6L 8-cylinder, paired with a 4-speed automatic, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow. The automatic gearbox makes city traffic easy.
At 12.4 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 37 litres of fuel. The split is 15.7 L/100 km in town and 9.4 on the highway. In energy, every 100 km costs about $21.70 at our price setting. We count premium at $1.75 a litre for the cost figures on this page.
How far it goes
Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go. Return the car with the fuel it had at pickup, or a fee applies. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones.
How big it is
As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 538 litres: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
When the DeVille makes sense
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Getting one from us
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What you need to rent
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
Getting the car booked
You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
