The 2001 Cadillac DeVille in plain words

Looking at the 2001 Cadillac DeVille? Start with its powertrains and fuel use.

The numbers in plain words

The 4.6L 8-cylinder does the work, through a 4-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow. The automatic gearbox makes city traffic easy.

Plan on about 39 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 13.1 L/100 km. City and highway ratings are 15.7 and 9.4 L/100 km. That works out to about $22.93 per 100 km at our price setting. We count premium at $1.75 a litre for the cost figures on this page.

Taking it further

Return the car with the fuel it had at pickup, or a fee applies. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones.

The DeVille in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The trunk holds 538 litres by the EPA's count: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

When the DeVille makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can I rent it?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

How renting with us works

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

What we need from you

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Next step

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
