Meet the 2003 Cadillac DeVille
If you are looking at the 2003 Cadillac DeVille, here is what the figures say.
The figures, translated
The 4.6L 8-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter. It shifts by itself; there is no clutch pedal to think about.
Fuel use is rated 12.4 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 37 litres. It uses 14.7 L/100 km in the city and 9.4 on the highway, by its rating. For 1,000 km, budget about $192.20 at our price setting.
Out of town
Return the car with the same fuel it had at pickup. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go.
How big it is
As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is 538 litres, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Who the DeVille suits
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

The rules, briefly
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
Getting the car booked
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
