Rent a white 2021 Honda Civic Type R in Java

Getting to know the 2021 Honda Civic Type R

Here is the 2021 Honda Civic Type R: the numbers, what they mean, and who it suits. The Type R sits at the top of the 2021 Honda Civic lineup, trim 6 of 6.

Java and the Civic

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Choosing a colour

The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. Our white cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. The studio image shows the Civic in white; photos of each real car are on its page.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through an automatic (CVT). The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The combined figure, 6.9 L/100 km, means roughly 21 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $107 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Civic

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Practical details

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA measures its luggage space at 736 litres, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Rent it from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking with CarmaCars

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
