The 2011 Lexus CT in short

Here are the 2011 Lexus CT's figures, in numbers and in words.

What the specs mean

The 1.8L 4-cylinder hybrid does the work, through an automatic (CVT). As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow. The gearbox is a continuously variable automatic, so there are no gear changes to feel.

Combined fuel use is 5.7 L/100 km: about 17 litres for 300 km. It uses 5.5 L/100 km in the city and 5.9 on the highway, by its rating. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $8.84.

Longer drives

For a trip out of Ontario, ask first: it needs our written consent. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. Return the car with the same fuel it had at pickup.

Who rents the CT

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 396 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

The booking steps

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Before you rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Ready to ask?

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
