Rent a gold 2021 Subaru Forester Base in Bald Knobs

The 2021 Subaru Forester Base: an overview

This page covers the 2021 Subaru Forester Base, a compact SUV. The Base is the entry trim of the 2021 Subaru Forester, the first of 6 in Canada.

The Forester and Bald Knobs

If you need it in Bald Knobs itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Bald Knobs is about 568 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Also close to Bald Knobs: Merritt, Stiversville and Oldtown Flats.

In gold

If you want it in gold, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. The studio image shows the Forester in gold; photos of each real car are on its page. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for gold in your request.

What the figures tell you

The 2.5L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated 8.2 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.71 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Practical details

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Renting the Forester from CarmaCars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

Rules for renters

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

How booking works

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Let us know

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
