Colour notes

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for silver and we try. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

Engine and fuel

It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 8.2 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.13 in energy at our price setting.

Who rents the Forester

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

What to expect from the Forester

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Your booking, in three steps

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Licence, age and card

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
