What the figures tell you

It runs the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

A combined rating of 8.2 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.71 in fuel at our price setting.

Who rents the Forester

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

How big it is

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Our Forester cars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Getting the car booked

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Ready when you are

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
