Driver basics

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
