Java and the Model 3

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,474 km away.

Around Java you will also find New Hope, Roeton and Frisco.

The Model 3 in beige

Our beige cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. If beige matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for beige in your request.

Engine and fuel

Its powertrain is the electric motor with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $2.79.

Space, size and seats

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who rents the Model 3

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Getting one from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

What to expect when you book

You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

One more step

If a car here fits, request it for your dates.
