The 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance in plain words

Renting for Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,474 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Nearby places include New Hope, Roeton and Frisco.

In brown

If you want it in brown, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. In brown, the Model 3 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Tell us if brown is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

The numbers in plain words

The powertrain here is the electric motor with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. Its rated range is 507 km on a full charge; real range drops in cold weather and at highway speeds. A 300 km weekend costs about $8.37 in energy at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

How big it is

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Getting one from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Who can rent

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

What to expect when you book

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Your move

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
