The 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance at a glance

The Model 3 and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,474 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Next door to Java are New Hope, Roeton and Frisco.

The Model 3 in black

If black matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. In black, the Model 3 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Ask for black in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car.

What the specs mean

The electric motor does the work, through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $8.37 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

What to expect from the Model 3

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Our Model 3 cars

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to bring

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Your booking, in three steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
