A note on Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,474 km from Java, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include New Hope, Roeton and Frisco.

In grey

A grey car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. In grey, the Model 3 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Tell us if grey is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

Engine and fuel

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

Inside and out

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Best uses

It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Can I rent it?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

From your dates to the handover

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Requirements

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Ask us

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
