Arranging the work for the Seltos

Need battery service for the 2021 Kia Seltos LX? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.

Your Seltos and the shop

Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The 2.0L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.

Our part and the shop's part

Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.

A rental while you wait

Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Car care, briefly

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Talk to a person

Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
