The figures, translated

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Its combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km, which means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

Size and space

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can you rent one?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

From your dates to the handover

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What you need to rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

When you know your dates

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
