Renting for Java

The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, driving through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

It is rated at 19.8 L/100 km combined, so budget about 59 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $34.65, and a 300 km weekend about $103.95.

Space, size and seats

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Good uses for the 1500

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Our 1500 cars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay.

What to bring

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

What happens when you ask for a car

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
