Cross border car rental: 2021 Ram 1500 TRX in Java

Cross border car rental: the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX

For a car for a cross-border trip, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent.

A note on Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 770 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Neighbouring areas include Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe.

The figures, translated

The 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

It is rated at 19.8 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 59 litres. Expect about $34.65 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Living with the 1500

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

Getting this car from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking in plain terms

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Checking your details

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
