What the specs mean

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

How big it is

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting it

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

The rules, briefly

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

How to book

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Make a request

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
