Reading the spec sheet

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent this car

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

How booking works

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before you rent

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
