Unity and the A4

Neighbouring areas include Unity Village, Knobtown and Vale.

What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

What the A4 is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can you rent one?

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

Request, offer, keys

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
