Executive car service: gold 2021 Audi A4 Technik in Java

The 2021 Audi A4 Technik: Executive car service

For a car with a driver, here is what the 2021 Audi A4 Technik brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The A4 and Java

The pages for Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners cover the areas next door.

Under the hood

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Its combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km, which means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.87 at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What to expect from the A4

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

From your dates to the handover

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Before you rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
