The 2021 Audi A4 Technik: Van rental

The 2021 Audi A4 Technik is on this page for van rental: here is what to know before you request one. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The A4 and Java

Places around Java include Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners.

What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Its combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km, which means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

Good uses for the A4

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Space and size

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting this car

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

The steps

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

What you need to rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
