What the specs mean

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 7.9 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 24 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $138.30 at our price setting.

How big it is

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The length is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

In our fleet

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking in plain terms

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

What we check

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

When you know your dates
