Replacement car rental with this car

Renting the 2020 Subaru Forester Base as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Renting for Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

What the figures tell you

The 2.5L 4-cylinder, paired with an automatic (CVT), drives it. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated 8.2 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.13 at our price setting.

Who rents the Forester

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

What to expect from the Forester

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Our Forester cars

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What to expect when you book

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Rules for renters

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
