Rent a black 2020 Subaru Forester Base in Java

Meet the 2020 Subaru Forester Base

Here is the 2020 Subaru Forester Base: the numbers, what they mean, and who it suits. The Base is the entry trim of the 2020 Subaru Forester, the first of 6 in Canada.

The Forester and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the neighbouring places on our list.

In black

Ask for black in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. Our black cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Our black cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one.

Under the hood

The 2.5L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated 8.2 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $127.10 at our price setting.

Inside and out

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Good uses for the Forester

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Rent it from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

Who can rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Getting the car booked

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Make a request

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
