Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Choosing a colour

A white car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Our white cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for white in your request.

Reading the spec sheet

It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.2 L/100 km rating. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.13 at our price setting.

What the Forester is like

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

When the Forester makes sense

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Renting the Forester from CarmaCars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Your booking, in three steps

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Driver requirements

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
