SUV rental: white 2020 Subaru Forester Base in Java

The 2020 Subaru Forester Base: SUV rental

For an SUV, the 2020 Subaru Forester Base is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Winter tires are an add-on on the SUVs that offer them.

Renting for Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

A combined rating of 8.2 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.71.

What the Forester is like

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who the Forester suits

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Rent it from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking with CarmaCars

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What to bring

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

One more step

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
