SUV rental with this car

Here is the 2020 Subaru Forester Base from the angle of someone searching for SUV rental. Winter tires are an add-on on the SUVs that offer them.

Java and the Forester

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Nearby places include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Specs, explained

The powertrain here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.2 L/100 km rating. For 1,000 km, budget about $127.10 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

How big it is

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Your booking, in three steps

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Renting: the basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
