Winter tires: how we help

CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a winter tire change on the 2020 Subaru Forester Base, we connect you with a trusted shop. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.

About your Forester

Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. If you have the service history of your Forester, have it ready for the shop. The 2.5L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT).

From request to repair

The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

A short checklist

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Small things that help

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

A note on Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.
