Rent a green 2020 Subaru Forester Base in Java

Meet the 2020 Subaru Forester Base

As the entry trim, the Base starts the 2020 Subaru Forester lineup. Here is the 2020 Subaru Forester Base in plain words: what it is, what it uses, and who it suits.

Java and the Forester

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the closest places to Java on our list.

Choosing a colour

If you want it in green, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Our green cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for green in your request.

The numbers in plain words

Its powertrain is the 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Combined fuel use is 8.2 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.71, and a 300 km weekend about $38.13.

Inside and out

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

A good match for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Rent this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What to bring

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

From your dates to the handover

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

One more step

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
