Rent an orange 2020 Subaru Forester Base in Java

Meet the 2020 Subaru Forester Base

Here is the 2020 Subaru Forester Base: the numbers, what they mean, and who it suits. As the entry trim, the Base starts the 2020 Subaru Forester lineup.

Java and the Forester

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Next door to Java are Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

In orange

A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for orange in your request. If you want it in orange, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. The studio image shows the Forester in orange; photos of each real car are on its page.

Under the hood

The powertrain to know here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.2 L/100 km combined rating. For 1,000 km, budget about $127.10 at our price setting.

Living with the Forester

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Who the Forester suits

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Getting one from us

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Booking in plain terms

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
