The Forester and Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Also close to Java: Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

About the colour

Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Want silver? Put it in the request. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for silver and we try.

Under the hood

The 2.5L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.2 L/100 km. That works out to about $12.71 per 100 km at our price setting.

Living with the Forester

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Getting this car from us

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer.

Booking made plain

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

When you know your dates

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
