The 2020 Subaru Forester Base: Winter tires

Your 2020 Subaru Forester Base needs a winter tire change? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.

About your Forester

Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim. It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive.

From request to repair

Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.

A short checklist

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Small things that help

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

A note on Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.
