Rideshare car rental: 2020 Subaru Forester Base in Java

Rideshare car rental with this car

If a car for rideshare or delivery work is the plan, the 2020 Subaru Forester Base is worth a look; here is why. Each platform sets its own vehicle rules, by city and model year; check them before you book. Weekly rates suit gig work; trips of 7 days or more use them.

Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

If you are near Java, Selby, Lowry and Sitka are close too.

Reading the spec sheet

Its 2.5L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 8.2 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $127.10 at our price setting.

Practical details

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Rent this car

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check.

How a booking comes together

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we ask of drivers

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
