Specs, explained

The powertrain to know here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 8.2 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. For 1,000 km, budget about $127.10 at our price setting.

Space and size

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Best uses

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Rent this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car.

Licence, age and card

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

What to expect when you book

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
