    Renting for Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the neighbouring places on our list.

    The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Combined fuel use is 8.2 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.71 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Forester

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

    Good uses for the Forester

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

    Rent this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one.

    Booking in plain terms

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

    What you need to rent

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
