Car subscription: white 2020 Subaru Forester Base in Java

The 2020 Subaru Forester Base: Car subscription

For a car by the month, the 2020 Subaru Forester Base is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

A note on Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Also close to Java: Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Under the hood

Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Combined fuel use is 8.2 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.13 at our price setting.

Living with the Forester

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Who rents the Forester

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Renting the Forester from CarmaCars

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
