The Forester and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Around Java you will also find Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Under the hood

Its powertrain is the 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 8.2 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. Expect about $12.71 per 100 km at our price setting.

Room inside

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Good uses for the Forester

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Getting one from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check.

Before you rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Ready when you are

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
