Renting the 2020 Subaru Forester Base

If you need a rental car, read about the 2020 Subaru Forester Base here, then request it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Java and the Forester

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 2.5L 4-cylinder and all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

The combined figure, 8.2 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $127.10.

Space and size

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

When the Forester makes sense

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Our Forester cars

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What happens when you ask for a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we check

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
