Auto rental: black 2020 Subaru Forester Base in Java

Auto rental and the 2020 Subaru Forester Base

The 2020 Subaru Forester Base is on this page for auto rental: here is what to know before you request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The Forester and Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Next door to Java are Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Under the hood

The 2.5L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Its combined rating is 8.2 L/100 km, which means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. Expect about $12.71 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the Forester

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Best uses

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Rent this car

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one.

The booking steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Requirements

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
