Turo alternative: GMC Pickup

Turo alternative with this car

This page joins two things: Turo alternative, and the GMC Pickup in plain words. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Reading the spec sheet

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Who rents the Pickup

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

How big it is

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Getting this car from us

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

The steps

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
