Reading the spec sheet

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.87 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

The booking steps

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What you need to rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
