What the specs mean

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $128.70.

A good match for

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

What to bring

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

The booking steps

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
