Car Inspection in Ruby, VA

Car Inspection in Ruby

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Ruby is about 602 km away. In short: A mechanical inspection, for example before you buy a used car, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A good inspection covers brakes, tires, suspension, leaks and rust.

What to send us

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Good habits for your car

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
