Mechanic in Ruby, VA

Arranging the work in Ruby

For mechanical repairs or maintenance in Ruby, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

How the request works

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Between shop visits

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
