Oil Change in Pointer, KY

Oil Change for Pointer

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 871 km from Pointer, and does not do this work itself. What this is: An oil and filter change, done by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine oil and its filter are changed on the schedule in your owner's manual, by distance or by time.

The steps

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Between shop visits

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

Talking to the shop

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Where we are

Our only location is in Toronto; Pointer is outside the area we serve. Pointer lies about 871 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

For work in Pointer, ask in a request and we tell you honestly whether we know a shop there. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. Still have a question about Pointer? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
