Winter Tires in Pointer, KY

Getting it done

If you need a winter tire change in Pointer: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. In short: Winter tires bought or put on for the season, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tread depth matters for grip in rain and snow; the shop measures it.

How the arrangement works

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

A short checklist

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Small things that help

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
